About this tour

Tandem skydiving is the most exhilarating thing you can do on a Thailand trip — and you need zero experience. You're strapped to a USPA-certified instructor who does all the work: you jump from around 13,000 feet, freefall for about 60 seconds at roughly 200 km/h, then glide back down under canopy with the coastline and islands laid out below you. Trip Dust arranges the booking and the pickup, so you just turn up.

The jump is run by Dropzone Thailand (Thai Sky Adventures), about an hour from Pattaya. We arrange free hotel pickup from Pattaya at 7:00 AM or 10:00 AM by air-conditioned van, take you to the dropzone, and bring you back afterwards.

How the day runs

  • Gear & briefing — meet your instructor, get fitted with the harness, and run through the safety briefing.
  • The climb — board the aircraft and climb to ~13,000 ft over the coast.
  • Freefall — exit the plane and freefall for about 60 seconds.
  • Canopy ride — the parachute opens around 5,000 ft for a smooth, scenic glide with ocean views.
  • Landing & certificate — touch down safely and collect your certificate.

  • Do I need any skydiving experience?

    None at all. This is a tandem jump — you are securely harnessed to a USPA-certified instructor who controls the freefall, the parachute and the landing. You just enjoy the view.

  • Is there a weight or health limit?

    Yes — tandem skydiving has weight and general-health limits, and some conditions (heart, recent surgery, pregnancy) are not permitted. Message us your weight and any concerns before you book and we will confirm with the dropzone.

  • How long does the whole thing take?

    Plan for roughly half a day. It is about an hour from Pattaya to the dropzone each way, plus check-in, the safety briefing, the jump, and time for photos and your certificate.

  • How high is the jump and how long is the freefall?

    You jump from around 13,000 feet and freefall for about 60 seconds at roughly 200 km/h, then the parachute opens near 5,000 feet for a calm, scenic glide down over the coast.

  • What about the video and photos?

    The dropzone has a professional media team. The "video" package adds an HD edit of your jump, and the top package adds photos as well. Choose your package when you book.

  • How do I pay?

    Lock your slot with a small ฿600 deposit by card (via Stripe) and settle the balance on the day. We send the exact pickup time and meeting point over WhatsApp once you book.
