About this tour

Dream World is one of Bangkok's largest theme parks, covering about 25 hectares of rides, gardens and themed lands. It opened in 1993 and remains a fixture on the family-day-out circuit north of the city. The "Super Visa" pass covers unlimited rides on 40+ attractions for the day, so there are no separate ride tickets to buy and children can repeat their favourites. Trip Dust arranges the pass, confirms the timing and gives you the directions, so the planning is handled before you arrive.

The grounds are divided into four themed zones, each with a different character. The best-known is Snow Town, an indoor hall with real snow — an unusual thing to find in tropical Thailand, and the main draw for visitors who have never seen snow.

  • Dream World Plaza — the colourful, Main-Street-style entrance lined with shops, photo spots and cafes; the natural place to start before heading to the rides.
  • Dream Gardens — a quieter zone set around a lake, with the Cable Car, the Seven Wonders of the World miniatures and slow boat rides.
  • Fantasy Land — the fairy-tale section: Sleeping Beauty's Castle, The Giant House, a sightseeing train, the 4D Adventure theatre and family rides such as Hurricane.
  • Adventure Land — the biggest zone and the one for thrill rides, including the Sky Coaster, Tornado, the Super Splash water ride, Grand Canyon rafting, Vikings, Bumper Cars, the Haunted Mansion and the Hollywood Action stunt show.
  • Snow Town & Go-Kart — both covered by the pass: sledding and snowman-building in the snow hall, with the go-kart track just outside.

The mix works for a range of groups: families with children, couples and friends travelling together. Gentle rides, gardens and the cable car suit younger children and older relatives, while the coasters cover anyone after a bigger thrill. One practical point — most of the park is open-air and the site is large, so expect a good amount of walking in the sun.

Quick tips for your trip

  • Recommended time to visit: The park opens daily from 10 AM (closing time is a little later on weekends than weekdays — we confirm current timings on WhatsApp). The cooler months of December to March are most pleasant, and weekday mornings are the quietest, so you wait less for the popular rides.
  • Dress code & what to bring: Wear light, comfortable clothes and good walking shoes — you will be on your feet and outdoors a lot. Carry a hat, sunscreen and a small bottle of water. Pack a thin jacket and socks for Snow Town, as it is genuinely cold inside (warm gear can also be rented there).
  • Photography tip: Dream World Plaza and the gardens are the prettiest for photos in soft morning light. For ride photos, keep your phone in a zipped pocket or pouch — loose items are not allowed on fast rides and must go in a locker.
  • Recommended visit duration: Plan for a full half-day to a full day — most guests spend 5 to 7 hours to cover the four zones, Snow Town, the Go-Kart and the shows without rushing.

Frequently asked questions

  • Does Dream World work for young children and older relatives?

Yes, it is built as a family park. Younger children and older relatives tend to stick to the gentle rides, the gardens, the cable car and the snow zone, while the bigger coasters are there for anyone who wants them. Because the park is largely open-air and spread out, comfortable shoes make a difference, and the shaded garden areas are an easy place for elders to rest between rides. Children under 90 cm normally enter free and those 90–120 cm pay a reduced rate; we confirm the exact child pricing when you book.

  • Where is the park, and what is the best way to reach it?

The park sits in Thanyaburi, in Pathum Thani province, roughly 20 km north of central Bangkok. Drive time is usually 40 to 50 minutes, though it varies with traffic. Most visitors take a Grab or a metered taxi door-to-door, since there is no direct rail link. Hotel pick-up and drop-off can be added for an extra charge; message us on WhatsApp if you want it arranged.

  • Are individual ride tickets needed once we are inside?

No. The "Super Visa" pass covers every ride for the day, along with Snow Town and the go-kart track. Nothing is charged at the rides themselves, so there is no limit on how often you go on each one.

  • Can we get vegetarian or Indian food at the park?

Yes. An International and Indian buffet lunch can be added to your booking as an optional extra at the time you book, and it includes vegetarian dishes, which saves you searching for veg options on site. The park also has snack stalls and restaurants if you would rather eat as you go.

  • What can we expect at Snow Town, and how cold does it get?

Snow Town is an indoor hall filled with real snow, where you can sled, build snowmen and walk around in the cold. The temperature is kept well below freezing, so bring a light jacket and socks; jackets and boots are also available to rent at the entrance. Entry is part of your pass.
