Thailand Tour Packages from Goa
Goa and Thailand share the same easy, beach-first appeal, and plenty of Goans and Goa-based travellers swap one set of beaches for another every year. There is no scheduled non-stop flight from Goa to Bangkok at present, but one-stop connections are frequent and competitively priced — typically routed through Mumbai or Bengaluru, with IndiGo operating most of the services from both the Dabolim and Mopa airports.
Once you arrive, Trip Dust handles the on-the-ground part: private transfers, hand-picked activities, Indian and vegetarian meals where you want them, and a team on WhatsApp throughout. Our land packages are priced around a group of four and built on activities and private transfers, with hotels optional. Here is what a Goa traveller should know before booking a Thailand trip.
Flying Goa to Thailand: What to Know
As of 2026 there is no scheduled non-stop service from Goa (Dabolim GOI or Manohar/Mopa GOX) to Bangkok, so the practical route is a one-stop connection:
- Via Mumbai (BOM): A short hop from Goa, then a non-stop Mumbai–Bangkok flight of around 4 hours 25 minutes. The most frequent and flexible routing.
- Via Bengaluru (BLR): Another convenient hub with direct Bengaluru–Bangkok services, often well-timed for southern travellers.
- IndiGo connections: IndiGo operates the majority of Goa–Bangkok itineraries from both Goa airports, usually through a single Indian hub. Total journey times vary with the layover, so compare options.
Fares vary by season and booking window — check live prices with the airlines. Trip Dust packages are land-only; flights are booked separately.
Visa for Indians Travelling to Thailand (2026 Update)
As of mid-2026, Indian passport holders still enter Thailand visa-free for up to 60 days. Thailand's Cabinet has approved replacing this with a 15-day stay plus a ฿2,000 visa-on-arrival (VOA) — but that change is pending Royal Gazette publication and not yet in force.
You will also need to complete the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before you fly. Because the rules are changing, always confirm the latest with the Royal Thai Embassy — full details in our Thailand visa guide for Indians.
Why Trip Dust Works Well for Goa Travellers
If you are used to Goa's relaxed beaches, Thailand's islands and coastal cities will feel familiar — and a few things make Trip Dust a natural fit for the trip:
- Private transfers throughout: Airport pickup, inter-city moves and activity drop-offs in your own vehicle, with no shared coaches or waiting around.
- Indian and vegetarian food: We work with restaurants serving Indian food across Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket and Krabi, and arrange Jain meals on request.
- WhatsApp support: Reach our team in Hindi or English on +66 82 885 5990 for quick answers and instant booking confirmations.
- Group pricing, hotel-optional: Packages are costed on activities and transfers for a group of four, so a family pays a sensible per-head rate — and you can add hotels or use your own.
Packages That Work Well from Goa
As a beach-loving crowd, Goa travellers often gravitate to Thailand's islands, but the city-and-beach combinations are just as popular. These are the trips we book most.
Phuket 4 Days
The natural pick for beach lovers — Phi Phi Island, James Bond Island and the FantaSea show. Reached via a short domestic leg from Bangkok, which we arrange. See the Phuket 4-day package.
Bangkok + Pattaya 5 Days
The easy two-city trip with no domestic flight — Safari World and the city in Bangkok, then Coral Island and a show in Pattaya. See the 5-day Bangkok and Pattaya package.
Pattaya 4 Days
Ideal for a short, simple first trip — Pattaya is 90 minutes by road from Bangkok's airport with no internal flight. See the Pattaya 4-day package.

Best Months to Travel from Goa
Goa's own peak season aligns neatly with Thailand's best months, so the timing is straightforward.
- November–February: The best window — dry, clear and comfortable across Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. Peak season, so book early for the December–January holidays.
- March–April: Warmer but still good for the coast; mid-April's Songkran festival is a memorable add-on if you plan for it.
- June–September: Goa's monsoon months are a popular time to escape to Thailand. Central Thailand and the Gulf coast (Pattaya) generally fare better than the Andaman side in these months.
- October: Shoulder season with lower prices; Phuket can see rougher seas, so Pattaya is the safer beach bet.

FAQs — Thailand from Goa
Are there direct flights from Goa to Bangkok?
Not at present. As of 2026 there is no scheduled non-stop flight from Goa (Dabolim GOI or Mopa GOX) to Bangkok. One-stop connections are frequent, usually via Mumbai or Bengaluru, with IndiGo operating most itineraries from both Goa airports. Total journey time depends on the layover, so compare options when booking.
Do Indians need a visa to visit Thailand in 2026?
As of mid-2026, Indian passport holders still get up to 60 days visa-free in Thailand. Thailand has approved replacing this with a 15-day stay plus a ฿2,000 visa-on-arrival, but it is pending official (Royal Gazette) publication and not yet in force. Because this is changing, always confirm the current rule with the Royal Thai Embassy before you travel — see our Thailand visa guide for Indians for the latest.
How much does a Thailand trip from Goa cost?
There are two parts: flights and the land package. One-stop flights via Mumbai or Bengaluru vary by airline, season and booking window, so check IndiGo and Air India directly. For the land portion, our group-priced packages cover activities and private transfers for a family of four; the Smart package with hotels starts around ₹13,500 per person. Contact us on WhatsApp (+66 82 885 5990) for an exact quote.
Is Thailand better than Goa for a beach holiday?
They are different. Goa is closer and more familiar; Thailand offers island-hopping to places like Phi Phi and James Bond Island, big cultural shows, and city experiences in Bangkok alongside the beaches. Many Goa travellers enjoy Thailand precisely because it adds variety — islands, shows and cities — to a beach trip.
Which Thailand destination is best for Goa beach lovers?
Phuket and Krabi are the closest match to Goa's beach-and-island feel, with boat trips to Phi Phi and Phang Nga Bay. If you want a simpler first trip without a domestic flight, Pattaya combined with Bangkok is the easiest, mixing beaches, shows and the city off a single airport.
