About this tour

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Pattaya brings seven separate attractions together under one roof on Beach Road, on the second floor of Royal Garden Plaza. The line-up runs from a museum of real oddities to mirror mazes, a haunted walk-through and a laser challenge. Because the whole venue is indoors and air-conditioned, it works the same on a hot afternoon or a wet one, which is why many families keep it as a backup plan.

You can buy a single ticket or a combo, choosing from these seven attractions:

  • Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium — the main museum, holding rare artefacts and odd-but-true stories gathered from around the world.
  • Ripley's Haunted Adventure — a walk-through haunted house with live actors and startle effects.
  • Ripley's Infinity Maze — a hall of lights, sound and mirrors that is easy to lose your bearings in, and one of the better spots inside for photos.
  • Louis Tussaud's Waxworks — wax figures of world celebrities and historical names to pose alongside.
  • Ripley's Scream in the Dark — an interactive shooting game built into a dark ride.
  • Ripley's Moving Theater 9DX — a short motion-simulator ride synced to on-screen action.
  • The Vault Laser Maze Challenge — a grid of laser beams to duck, twist and time your way through.

What sets it apart from a standard museum is how much you do rather than just look at: a room built to throw off your sense of gravity, exhibits that invite a second look, and interactive zones the whole group can take part in. That balance of curiosity and hands-on play tends to fill a couple of hours easily, children included.

The Odditorium, Waxworks, Infinity Maze and Laser Maze work for all ages, while the Haunted Adventure and Scream in the Dark are pitched at visitors who enjoy a scare. Book through Trip Dust and your confirmation arrives on WhatsApp, with help available in Hindi or English.

Please note: Very young children may find the Haunted Adventure and Scream in the Dark sections too intense. The other 5 attractions are completely family-friendly.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Pattaya – Itinerary

  1. 11:00 AM

    Odditorium

A sensible place to start, before the museum fills up. Allow 30 to 40 minutes to read the stories behind the artefacts and the Believe-It-Or-Not exhibits.

  2. 12:00 PM

    Louis Tussaud's Waxworks

Wax figures of world celebrities and historical names, set up so you can stand beside them for photos.

  3. 12:30 PM

    Moving Theater 9DX

A short motion-simulator ride synced to the screen. Skip it if you are prone to motion sickness or have a back problem.

  4. 1:00 PM

    Infinity Maze & Vault

Find your way through the Infinity Maze of mirrors, then time yourself across the laser grid in the Vault Laser Maze Challenge.

  5. 2:00 PM

    Haunted Adventure & Scream

The haunted house with live actors, followed by the interactive shooting game in Scream in the Dark. Leave these for last, or skip them, if you are with young children.

Quick tips for your trip

  • Best time to go: Open daily, usually 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM; we confirm current timings and the last entry on WhatsApp. A weekday morning sees the smallest crowds, which helps in the narrow maze sections.
  • What to wear: Casual clothes and comfortable shoes. The halls run cold, so a light layer is worth carrying.
  • For your photos: Switch your phone to night or low-light mode and turn the flash off, or the glass displays throw back glare. The Infinity Maze and Waxworks photograph best.
  • How long to budget: Two to three hours covers all seven attractions without rushing. A smaller combo of two or three takes correspondingly less.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can grandparents and young children do this together?

For the most part, yes. The Odditorium, Waxworks, Infinity Maze and Laser Maze work across the age range, the floors are flat, and the air-conditioning makes a long visit easy on older parents. The two to leave out for very young children, or anyone who dislikes a fright, are the Haunted Adventure and Scream in the Dark, which are built to startle. The remaining five carry no such warning.

  • Whereabouts in Pattaya is it?

On the second floor of Royal Garden Plaza, which fronts directly onto Beach Road in the centre of town, a short walk back from the seafront. From most central hotels a Grab, metered taxi or baht bus gets you there in a few minutes. Once you book, we send the map pin on WhatsApp.

  • How long does a full visit take?

Allow two to three hours to see all seven attractions at a steady pace, including time for photos and the interactive games. A combo of only two or three attractions can be done in an hour or so.

  • Is there vegetarian or Indian food close by?

Royal Garden Plaza itself has a food court and several restaurants, and Beach Road and the streets around it carry plenty more, including vegetarian and Indian kitchens. There is no eating inside the attractions, so most people have a meal in the mall or nearby before or after.

  • Can I take photos inside?

Photography is fine in the exhibit halls, and the Infinity Maze and Waxworks are the ones people shoot most. Keep the flash off near the glass cases to avoid glare, and follow the staff's instructions on the ride attractions, where filming is sometimes restricted.
