Thailand Tour Packages from Delhi

Delhi to Thailand is one of the most straightforward international trips an Indian family can plan. Non-stop flights from Indira Gandhi International (DEL) reach Bangkok Suvarnabhumi in roughly 4 hours 15 minutes — shorter than a Delhi–Mumbai train journey. What happens after you land is where most travellers either overpay or underplan. Trip Dust handles the post-landing part: private transfers, hand-picked activities, vegetarian and Jain meals where you need them, and someone reachable on WhatsApp throughout.

Our Thailand land packages are priced for a group of four and built around activities and private transfers — hotels are optional, so you keep what you've already booked or let us suggest something that actually fits your budget. This page covers everything a Delhi traveller needs to know before confirming a booking.

Flying Delhi to Bangkok: What to Know

Flights depart from Terminal 3, Indira Gandhi International Airport and land at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) — the airport connected directly to central Bangkok by metro.

  • Air India operates around 28 non-stop services per week on the DEL–BKK route. These were previously partly operated under the Vistara brand; since November 2024 all flights run under Air India's code.
  • IndiGo runs around 14 non-stop departures per week — a solid option if you want budget-friendly direct service.
  • Thai Airways offers roughly 21 non-stop flights per week with a reputation for punctuality on this corridor.
  • One-stop connections via Colombo, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore are available on multiple carriers and can sometimes work out cheaper if timing is flexible.

Average direct flight time: 4 hours 10–20 minutes. An early-morning departure from Delhi gets you in Bangkok by noon, leaving the afternoon free. Flight fares vary — check live prices on your preferred booking site. Trip Dust's packages are land-only; flights are booked separately.

Visa for Indians Travelling to Thailand (2026 Update)

As of mid-2026, Indian passport holders still enter Thailand visa-free for up to 60 days. Thailand's Cabinet has approved replacing this with a 15-day stay plus a ฿2,000 visa-on-arrival (VOA) — but that change is pending Royal Gazette publication and not yet in force.

You will also need to complete the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before you fly. Because the rules are changing, always confirm the latest with the Royal Thai Embassy — full details in our Thailand visa guide for Indians.

Why Our Land Packages Work Well for Delhi Families

A Delhi family of four heading to Thailand typically has a clear set of priorities: not getting stranded between cities, not being herded into a bus with strangers, finding one decent vegetarian meal per day, and knowing upfront what everything costs. Trip Dust's packages are built around exactly that.

  • Private transfers throughout: Airport pickup, every inter-city move, every activity drop-off. No shared coaches, no waiting for other guests.
  • Activities, not itinerary-stuffing: We select activities that travel well — sea trips, city experiences, wildlife parks — and skip the generic filler.
  • Hindi and English support: Our team communicates comfortably in both. WhatsApp booking on +66 82 885 5990 means you are never composing a formal email when you have a quick question.
  • Vegetarian and Jain food options: Thailand has excellent vegetarian food if you know where to look. We plan meals around this where it matters — on full-day boat trips especially.
  • Pay-on-pickup on select activities: Confirm your booking and pay at the venue for certain experiences, which matters if your arrival flight is delayed or plans shift.
  • Hotel-optional pricing: Our packages are costed on activities and transfers. If you have hotel loyalty points to use or prefer to book accommodation yourself, you can; if not, we'll add options that fit.

Packages That Work Well from Delhi

These are the Trip Dust packages Delhi travellers book most often, based on flight connections and what suits a 4–7 day trip.

Pattaya 4 Days

Ideal for a first trip. Pattaya is 90 minutes from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi by road — no domestic connection needed. Coral Island, cultural shows, sea views, and easy evening walks. Good for families and groups. See the Pattaya 4-day package.

Bangkok + Pattaya 5 or 6 Days

The most popular combination for Delhi travellers with a week to spare. Land in Bangkok, see Safari World and the city's temples, then shift to Pattaya for the sea. Uses only Suvarnabhumi — no domestic flight needed. 5-day option · 6-day option.

Bangkok + Phuket 6 Days

If Phuket's beaches and Phi Phi Island are the goal, this combination pairs Bangkok's city experiences with Phuket's sea trips. Involves a short domestic flight or an overnight transfer — we handle both. See the Bangkok + Phuket 6-day package.

Best Months to Travel from Delhi

Delhi's travel calendar and Thailand's weather align well — the months when Delhi is most eager to escape are also Thailand's best months to visit.

  • November: Thailand's rainy season ends; the weather turns dry and clear. Slightly cheaper than December, shorter crowds, and a genuine shoulder-season bargain. A strong first-choice for Delhi travellers.
  • December and January: Peak season. Temperatures across Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket sit between 26°C and 32°C, with low humidity and very little rain. Ideal beach and outdoor conditions. Book early — popular packages fill quickly during the school holidays and Christmas–New Year window.
  • February and March: Still comfortable, with February being excellent. March starts to warm up but remains manageable in Phuket and Krabi.
  • October: Wet in parts of the country, but central Thailand (Bangkok, Pattaya) is often fine. Phuket can be rough seas in October — sea trips may be limited.
  • April and May (Songkran): Hot, but the Thai New Year water festival in mid-April is a genuine cultural experience. Travel during this period needs earlier booking and some flexibility.

Summer school holidays (late May–June) are manageable — Thailand is warm and occasionally wet, but all activities run. Many Delhi families use this window because the flights are familiar and the trip is short enough to fit a working adult's leave.

FAQs — Thailand from Delhi

Do Indians need a visa to visit Thailand in 2026?

As of mid-2026, Indian passport holders still get up to 60 days visa-free in Thailand. Thailand has approved replacing this with a 15-day stay plus a ฿2,000 visa-on-arrival, but it is pending official (Royal Gazette) publication and not yet in force. Because this is changing, always confirm the current rule with the Royal Thai Embassy before you travel — see our Thailand visa guide for Indians for the latest.

How much does a Thailand trip from Delhi cost in total?

There are two parts: flights and the land package. Flights from Delhi to Bangkok are separate from our packages — fares vary by airline, season and how far in advance you book; check IndiGo, Air India or Thai Airways directly. For the land portion, Trip Dust's group-priced packages cover activities and private transfers for a family of four. As a rough guide, the Smart Package (with hotels included) starts around ₹13,500 per person; activity-and-transfer-only packages are costed on request based on your city choices and group size. Contact us on WhatsApp (+66 82 885 5990) for an exact quote.

Are Trip Dust packages suitable for travelling with children?

Yes, and families with children make up a significant share of our bookings from Delhi. Private transfers mean no shared coaches and no waiting around, which matters enormously with young children. Activities like Coral Island, Safari World Bangkok, and Phuket's Phi Phi Island tour are genuinely suitable for kids across most age groups. We can flag any activities with age or physical requirements when you book.

Is vegetarian or Jain food available on a Trip Dust package?

Yes. Thailand has a strong vegetarian food culture and most tourist areas have good options. For full-day trips — particularly boat excursions — we plan meals with vegetarian and Jain requirements in mind. Let us know your dietary needs when you confirm your booking and we will account for them throughout the itinerary. This is one of the practical differences between a Trip Dust package and a generic online itinerary.

Are there direct flights from Delhi to Bangkok?

Yes. Air India, IndiGo and Thai Airways all operate non-stop services from Indira Gandhi International (DEL Terminal 3) to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK). Average flight time is around 4 hours 15 minutes. One-stop connections via Colombo, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore are also available and can offer more timing flexibility. Trip Dust packages are land-only — you book your flights independently and we take over from the Bangkok airport arrival gate.

Can we do Phuket without flying domestically within Thailand?

Phuket requires a domestic flight or an overnight transfer from Bangkok — it is roughly 860 km south and not reachable by a short road trip. If you want to avoid a domestic leg, Pattaya is the best beach-adjacent option: it is only 90 minutes by road from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and suits a 4–5 day trip landing and departing from the same airport. If Phuket's beaches are the main draw, a 6-day Bangkok–Phuket combination with a short domestic flight works well and we handle all the logistics.
