Cancellation Policy – Trip Dust

Quick Summary

  • Cancellation: Single activities can be cancelled free of charge up to 72 hours before the activity date for a full refund; cancellations made less than 72 hours before the activity, and no-shows, are non-refundable. Packages can be cancelled free of charge within 72 hours of making the booking payment (not for packages booked within 72 hours of the first activity date) — after that the travel date can still be changed, but the package cannot be cancelled. Transfers and taxi bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 72 hours before travel.

  • Bookings: All bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. We do not accept last-minute bookings less than 24 hours before the trip.

  • Modifications: Changes to your trip dates are subject to availability and must be requested 72 hours prior.

1. General Policy

At Trip Dust, we take pride in offering competitive travel packages and working with trusted hotel and activity partners across Thailand. As all our bookings are made in advance with fixed arrangements, single activities can be cancelled free of charge up to 72 hours before the activity date, and packages within 72 hours of making the booking payment (section 2 sets out the full terms, including transfers and taxi bookings). Once a booking has been confirmed and payment has been received, the cancellation terms set out below apply.

2. Cancellation & Refund Terms

Single activities and tours (an activity booked on its own page): you can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before the activity date for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the activity, and no-shows, are non-refundable. The date can be changed up to 72 hours before the activity, subject to availability. Where an operator applies stricter terms (for example a ticket that is non-refundable once issued), this is shown on the activity page before you pay, and those terms apply.

Packages (our ready-made Thailand packages and trips built with our package builder): you can cancel free of charge within 72 hours of making the booking payment for a full refund. This does not apply to packages booked within 72 hours of the first activity date. After that 72-hour window the package cannot be cancelled or refunded, but you may still change your travel date up to 72 hours before travel, subject to availability and supplier confirmation. If an activity in your package has stricter operator terms (for example a ticket that is non-refundable once issued), this is shown before you pay, and those terms apply to that activity.

Transfers and taxi bookings: free cancellation up to 72 hours before the scheduled pickup.

Please note the following:

  • Cancellations made outside the free-cancellation periods above, and no-shows, are non-refundable.
  • These terms apply to all bookings, including:
    • Hotel reservations
    • Sightseeing activities
    • Tour packages
    • Transfers and transportation
    • Visa services and related add-ons
  • No refunds will be issued for unused services or last-minute changes to the itinerary.

3. Modifications

We understand that plans can change. Where a booking can no longer be cancelled free of charge, we may still assist with rescheduling or modifying bookings, depending on availability and approval from our local partners. However:

  • Changes are not guaranteed.
  • Additional fees may apply.
  • Requests must be made at least 72 hours before the original travel date.

4. Exceptions

Outside the free-cancellation periods in section 2, refunds may only be considered in rare cases of:

  • Trip cancellation by Trip Dust due to force majeure or operational issues.
  • In such cases, a partial refund or future travel credit may be issued at our discretion.

5. Agreement to Policy

By confirming a booking with Trip Dust, the customer agrees to this cancellation policy in full. It is the customer’s responsibility to read and understand this policy before making any payment.
