About this tour
Tiger Park Pattaya lets you sit close to a real tiger for a supervised photo session. It is one of Pattaya's better-known wildlife attractions, with 50+ tigers on site, including Bengals and the rare, honey-coloured Golden Tabby. The format is straightforward: you select the size of tiger you are comfortable with, a trained handler accompanies you into the enclosure, and you get your photos with the animal. Wildlife enthusiasts, couples and families all book it, and children can take part within the age rules set out below.
You decide your own comfort level by choosing which tiger to sit with. The options run from the smallest cubs to fully grown adults:
- Newborn & smallest cubs (1–6 months) — the calmest choice, and the only category open to younger children. These cubs are small and used to being handled.
- Small & medium tigers (7 months – 2 years) — older, more active animals, larger than the cubs but still accustomed to people.
- Big & giant tigers (2 years and above) — fully grown adults, for visitors who want a photo alongside a tiger at full size.
- Golden Tabby tiger — a recessive colour variation with pale-golden fur and faint stripes, rarely seen at other parks. Offered as an add-on for the photo session.
Each session runs about 10 minutes inside the enclosure with the handler present throughout, directing where you sit, where to put your hands and when to move closer. An optional Forest Safari — a short electric-car ride through the open tiger area — can be added, and the park has a cafe, a buffet and restaurant area, and a souvenir shop for afterwards.
Two points on access: the cubs and the Forest Safari are open to all ages, but the larger tigers carry minimum height and age requirements, so children are restricted to the smallest cubs and must be accompanied by an adult. The interaction is not recommended for pregnant women. Send us your group details on WhatsApp and we will work out which tiger size suits each person.
Please note: For safety, wear closed-toe shoes and light, comfortable clothing. Avoid bright red or neon colours and any loose, flowing or dangling items such as scarves, long straps or large jewellery, as these can distract the tigers. Each interaction session lasts about 10 minutes, and the larger tiger sizes carry minimum height and age requirements.

Quick tips for your trip
- Best time to go: The park opens daily, usually 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with last entry around 5:30 PM (we confirm current timings on WhatsApp). Mornings are cooler and the tigers are generally more active then. Book your session ahead of your visit.
- What to wear: Light, comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes; sandals are not suitable inside the enclosures. Skip bright red or neon colours and anything loose or dangling, since these can distract the animals.
- Photos: You may use your own phone or camera during the session. Burst mode and the available natural light give the sharpest results, and the handler positions you beside the tiger. The park also has official photographers on site (paid) if you prefer professional images of your group.
- How long to allow: Set aside roughly 1 to 2 hours. That covers your tiger session, photos, and a break at the on-site cafe. Allow extra if you add the Forest Safari or more than one tiger size.

Frequently asked questions
-
Can young children and older travellers join the tiger session?
Every interaction takes place inside the enclosure with a trained handler beside you, directing each move, and you pick the tiger size you are comfortable with, so it works for first-timers and nervous guests. Children may only sit with the cubs (the smallest tigers), and the cubs and the Forest Safari ride are open to all ages with an accompanying adult. The larger tigers have minimum height and age requirements. The session is not recommended for pregnant women. Share your group details on WhatsApp and we will point you to the right option.
-
How much time does the session take from start to finish?
The time inside the enclosure with your chosen tiger is about 10 minutes. Allowing for photos, a break at the cafe, and an optional extra tiger size or the Forest Safari, most visitors spend 1 to 2 hours at the park in total.
-
Are our own cameras allowed, or is a paid photographer required?
You can use your own phone or camera during the session at no extra cost. The park also has official photographers who sell photo and video packages on site, which are optional and paid, if you would like professional images of your group.
-
Where is the park, and can we find vegetarian or Indian food close by?
The park sits in East Pattaya (the Nongprue area), about a 15 to 25 minute drive from central Pattaya and the beach strip depending on traffic. On site there is a cafe and a buffet and restaurant area for a quick bite or coffee. For a full vegetarian or Indian meal, central Pattaya has far more choice, so it is simplest to eat there before or after your visit; ask us on WhatsApp and we will recommend a few places.
-
Should we reserve a slot beforehand, or is walk-in possible?
This is a pre-booked experience rather than pay-on-arrival, so reserve ahead to lock in your preferred tiger size and time slot. After booking you receive a WhatsApp confirmation, along with the exact location and the current timings.
