How far is the island, and how do we reach it?

Koh Larn lies about 7 km off the Pattaya coast. Pickup is from your hotel, free for stays within 3 km of Walking Street or Bali Hai, and the speedboat then leaves from Bali Hai Pier, crossing in 15 to 20 minutes. If your hotel falls outside the free zone, you can make your own way to Bali Hai Pier or arrange paid pickup over WhatsApp.

Do we head straight to the beach once the boat leaves?

Not quite. The boat first pulls up at a mid-sea platform, where you can take the optional water activities such as parasailing and the undersea walk. The beach drop comes after that, leaving you free time on the sand for the rest of the visit.

About this tour

Coral Island (Koh Larn) is the closest island to Pattaya, lying roughly 7 km off the Pattaya coast, out in the open sea. This is a full-day trip from Trip Dust: you board a speedboat at Bali Hai Pier, pause mid-sea for optional water sports, and land on the island's white-sand beaches, where the water is noticeably clearer than the Pattaya seafront.

The day is built around free time on the beach plus the activities you choose to add, from parasailing to a jet-ski run. Lunch is a full Indian Buffet Lunch (Vegetarian & Non-Vegetarian), with separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian counters, so you are not left looking for veg food on the island.

What a Koh Larn day covers:

The beaches — Tawaen is the main beach, with soft sand and busy water-sports operators; Tien, Samae and Nual are smaller and quieter if you would rather sit out the crowds.
The speedboat — about 15 to 20 minutes each way from Bali Hai Pier.
Water sports — parasailing over the bay, jet-skiing, the banana-boat ride, and sea-walking, where you walk along the seabed wearing a weighted helmet fed with air from the surface.

Quick tips for your trip

When to go: The tour runs all year, though the November–April dry season brings the calmest sea and clearest water. Weekdays see fewer crowds than weekends. Pickup is at 10:00 AM, which still gets you onto the island with the best of the day ahead.
What to bring: Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and sunglasses. Wear flip-flops rather than shoes, as your feet will get wet at the pier and on the beach.
Photography: The water reads brightest between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, when the sun is high. Bring a waterproof pouch or phone case if you plan to shoot during the water sports.
Safety note: The speedboat runs fast and the open-sea stretch is bumpy. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, guests over 60, or anyone with heart or back problems.
