You still reach the same Phi Phi highlights, just at a calmer pace.

What is the difference between Standard Class and First Class?

Both tickets follow exactly the same programme, transfers and inclusions — the only difference is your seat on the cruiser. Standard Class is ฿1,350 per person (the same rate for adults and children); First Class gives you the premium seats at ฿1,800 per person. Infants are free on either class.

What is not included in the price?

Two charges are paid in cash on the day: the National Park Fee — ฿400 per adult and ฿200 per child — and a ฿20 per person Tonsai Pier entrance fee. Personal spending, extra snacks and drinks are also your own. Everything else listed — transfers, the cruiser, lunch, snorkel gear, guide and insurance — is included.

About this tour

This is the Phi Phi Island day trip from Phuket done by Royal Jet Cruiser — a larger, steadier boat than a speedboat. The difference is in the ride: the cruiser sits higher and moves more smoothly across the open water, which makes it a far more comfortable choice for families with young children, infants and senior travellers, or for anyone who would rather not bounce across the waves on a fast speedboat. If a speedboat puts you off, this is the trip to take instead.

The day runs from a morning hotel pickup to a late-afternoon return, with most of it spent on or beside the Andaman Sea. You sail out to Long Beach on Phi Phi Don for free time, snorkelling over the shore reef and a swim on the white sand, then sit down to a buffet lunch by the sea with Thai, International and Indian dishes. The afternoon leaves room to wander Tonsai town, the island's small centre of shops, cafés and photo spots, before the cruise home.

On the way back the cruiser passes Phi Phi Ley for sightseeing from the deck — the famous Maya Bay (the cove from the film The Beach), Viking Cave, Pi-Le Cove and Loh Samah Bay.
