About this tour
Jurassic World: The Experience is an official, Universal-licensed walk-through attraction at Asiatique The Riverfront in Bangkok. It was the first of its kind in Southeast Asia and covers more than 6,000 square metres. Rather than a screen show or a ride, it puts you on foot inside the setting of the films, among life-sized animatronic dinosaurs built to breathe, roar and move at close range. It is one of the few attractions in the city that appeals as much to adults who grew up with the franchise as to children seeing the dinosaurs for the first time.
The route runs through 12 themed zones arranged as a single storyline. You arrive on Isla Nublar, pass the plant-eaters, meet baby dinosaurs at close range, and finish with the predators. The whole walk is indoor and air-conditioned, using fog, low lighting and the film soundtrack, which makes it a reliable plan on a hot afternoon or a wet one.
The zones you pass through include:
- Arrival at Isla Nublar: the entrance recreates the Jurassic Park gates and the path onto the island.
- A Close Encounter with Giants: a chance to stand beside the long-necked Brachiosaurus and other herbivores at full scale.
- The Petting Zoo: the baby dinosaurs here are usually the highlight for younger visitors.
- Predator Pavilion and Observation Deck: the Velociraptors, with a raised viewpoint over the park.
- A Fight for Survival and The Final Escape: the closing sequence, built around the Indominus Rex and T-rex, before the route returns you to the exit.
The species on show across the zones include the T-rex, Velociraptors, Indominus Rex, Carnotaurus, Dilophosaurus, Pteranodon and Brachiosaurus, with film-prop photo points at most stops. Because the attraction sits inside Asiatique, Bangkok's riverside night market, it works well as the start of a longer evening of shopping, the riverfront Ferris wheel and dinner.
The walk-through is paced gently rather than as a fright attraction, which keeps it workable for mixed groups of families, couples and friends. The venue is wheelchair accessible, so older relatives can join without difficulty.

Quick tips for your trip
- Recommended time to visit: It is an indoor, all-weather attraction, so any day works. Weekday entry (Mon–Fri) is cheaper and quieter than weekends and public holidays — great if you are travelling with little ones. Going in the late afternoon/evening lets you pair it with Asiatique's riverfront and night market afterwards.
- Dress code: No special dress code — just wear comfortable shoes, as it is a walk-through across 12 zones. It is fully air-conditioned indoors, so you stay cool throughout.
- Photography tip: Photos are allowed throughout. The Jurassic Park gates and the larger animatronics make the strongest frames. Lighting indoors is deliberately low, so hold the phone steady and tap to focus on the dinosaur to avoid blur.
- Good to know: Children under 3 enter free with a paying adult. Strollers may need to be parked in a few of the zones — we can confirm the latest details for you on WhatsApp.
- Recommended visit duration: Plan about 1.5 to 2 hours inside to enjoy all 12 zones at a relaxed pace. Add extra time if you want to explore Asiatique's shops, riverfront and restaurants around it.

Frequently asked questions
-
Can young children and older relatives manage the visit?
Yes. The route is a level indoor walk rather than a fright attraction, so most ages cope well. Younger children tend to spend longest at the baby-dinosaur Petting Zoo, and the venue is wheelchair accessible for anyone who tires easily. Children under 3 enter free when accompanied by a paying adult.
-
Where is Asiatique, and what is the best way to reach it?
The attraction is inside Asiatique The Riverfront on the Chao Phraya. The simplest route is the BTS Skytrain to Saphan Taksin, then the free shuttle boat from the pier at Gate 3, which departs every 25 to 30 minutes; the crossing takes only a few minutes. A free shuttle van also runs. We send the exact directions and current departure times over WhatsApp.
-
Are photos and videos allowed inside?
Yes, across all 12 zones, with no extra charge. The Jurassic Park gates and the full-scale T-rex are the most photographed points. Because the lighting is low, a steady hand gives the best results.
-
Is there vegetarian or Indian food nearby?
Asiatique The Riverfront has a wide range of restaurants and food stalls, so vegetarian and other options are easy to find before or after your visit. Since the walk-through runs about 1.5 to 2 hours, most visitors plan their meal around it rather than inside.
-
What are the entry timings, and does weather affect the visit?
The walk-through is fully indoor and air-conditioned, so rain or heat makes no difference. Your entry window depends on the ticket: weekday tickets (Mon to Fri) cover daytime entry, while weekend and public-holiday tickets extend into the evening alongside the Asiatique night market. We confirm the entry times for your chosen date on WhatsApp before you book.
