About this tour

Hanuman World is a forest adventure park in Wichit, about 10 minutes by road from Phuket Town. Most of the activity happens in the tree canopy: you are clipped to a steel cable, step off a raised platform, and travel between trees on a series of ziplines. For anyone who has spent the trip on beaches and temples, it is a different kind of day out, and it works for a wide range of ages and fitness levels.

The course is run by certified guides, uses a double-harness system that keeps you attached to the cable at all times, and your gear is checked before each run, so first-timers and people who are uneasy about heights can take it at their own pace. The park is laid out as follows:

Ziplines — up to 16 ziplines connecting as many as 32 platforms, with the longest line running about 400 metres across the valley.
Roller-coaster zipline — an 800-metre cable that curves and dips through the treetops rather than running in a straight line.
Skywalk and sky bridges — suspended walkways set above the forest floor, with open views across the canopy.
Gravity luge — a winding, gravity-powered luge track through the trees, offered as an add-on to the zipline packages.
Spiral staircases and abseils — spiral staircases linking the platforms and a guided abseil, or rope descent, between levels.
