About this tour
Hanuman World is a forest adventure park in Wichit, about 10 minutes by road from Phuket Town. Most of the activity happens in the tree canopy: you are clipped to a steel cable, step off a raised platform, and travel between trees on a series of ziplines. For anyone who has spent the trip on beaches and temples, it is a different kind of day out, and it works for a wide range of ages and fitness levels.
The course is run by certified guides, uses a double-harness system that keeps you attached to the cable at all times, and your gear is checked before each run, so first-timers and people who are uneasy about heights can take it at their own pace. The park is laid out as follows:
- Ziplines — up to 16 ziplines connecting as many as 32 platforms, with the longest line running about 400 metres across the valley.
- Roller-coaster zipline — an 800-metre cable that curves and dips through the treetops rather than running in a straight line.
- Skywalk and sky bridges — suspended walkways set above the forest floor, with open views across the canopy.
- Gravity luge — a winding, gravity-powered luge track through the trees, offered as an add-on to the zipline packages.
- Spiral staircases and abseils — spiral staircases linking the platforms and a guided abseil, or rope descent, between levels.
Packages run from a short set of a few ziplines to a 2–3 hour route covering the full course, so groups can match the length and difficulty to what they want. Families with children, couples and groups of friends all use it, and the park accepts guests roughly from age 4 to 80. It is a physical, outdoor activity with climbing and heights: there is a 120 kg weight limit, closed-toe shoes are required, and it is not advised for pregnant women or anyone with heart, back or significant mobility problems.

Quick tips for your trip
- When to go: The park is open 8 AM to 6 PM daily, with last admission at 3 PM. Morning slots tend to be cooler and less crowded, before the afternoon heat sets in. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the current timings and your slot.
- What to wear: Comfortable activewear and closed-toe shoes with a firm sole. Sandals, flip-flops and barefoot-style shoes are not permitted on the course. Tie back long hair, leave loose jewellery behind, and pack a spare set of clothes, as it gets warm and humid under the canopy.
- Photos: You can carry a phone on a secured wrist strap, but loose items cannot go onto the ziplines. The Skywalk and sky bridges are the easiest spots for wide canopy shots; during the runs themselves, the park's photo team takes action shots that you can buy afterwards.
- How long it takes: Expect about 2–3 hours on the course depending on your package, and roughly 3–4 hours on site once you add the briefing, gearing up and a stop at the restaurant.
- Safety and restrictions: Guides run the briefing and check each harness and helmet before you set off. The weight limit is 120 kg, and the activity is not recommended for pregnant women or anyone with heart, back or mobility problems. Check with us before booking if any of this applies to you.

Frequently asked questions
-
Can young children and older parents join in?
The park takes guests from about 4 to 80 years old, and the shorter, lower zipline packages suit children and anyone trying it for the first time. Each person wears a full harness and helmet and stays clipped to the cable by a certified guide throughout. Because it involves climbing and heights, it is not suitable for pregnant women or anyone with heart, back or significant mobility issues. Send us the ages in your group on WhatsApp and we will suggest a package to match.
-
I have never ziplined and heights make me nervous. Is that a problem?
Most people who come here have never done it before. The instructors run a full safety briefing first, fit your equipment, and show you how to glide and how to brake. With the double-harness system you stay attached to the cable at every stage. Starting on the shorter lines is a good way to find your footing before the longer runs.
-
What are the weight limit and clothing rules?
The maximum weight for the course is 120 kg. Wear activewear you can move in, along with closed-toe shoes that have a firm sole; sandals, flip-flops and barefoot-style shoes are turned away at the course. Leave loose jewellery off and tie back long hair. A spare set of clothes is worth bringing, since it gets warm and humid in the trees.
-
Where exactly is the park, and will we be picked up from our hotel?
It sits in Wichit, around 10 minutes from Phuket Town and a short drive from Patong, Karon, Kata and the other main beaches. The park provides return hotel transfers on most packages. Send us your hotel name and area on WhatsApp and we will tell you the pickup time and whether you fall inside the covered zone.
-
Can we eat at the park, and are there vegetarian dishes?
There is a restaurant on site for meals and refreshments, and a meal set comes with some of the packages. It is a Thai venue, so a full Indian or pure-vegetarian menu is not guaranteed on the day; if you have particular dietary needs, mention them on WhatsApp. Since the course runs 2–3 hours, many guests just plan a proper meal before or after.
