Where exactly is Sky Rock, and do you arrange transport from Phuket?

The course is in the Khao Lak area of Phang Nga, around 1.5 hours by road north of Phuket. Pickup is free for guests staying within Khao Lak; from Phuket and other areas it is available for an added fee. Send us your hotel name on WhatsApp and we will set up the most practical transfer for you.

A light lunch comes with the Rock 1 (27-platform) programme only. Rock 2 (14) and Rock 3 (10) do not include food, though there are places to eat around Khao Lak before or after your session. Tell us in advance if you need pure-vegetarian food and we will point you to a suitable spot.

What happens if it rains?

The course sits in the rainforest and normally keeps running through light rain, which often makes for cooler conditions. If heavy rain or unsafe weather sets in, the operator pauses or reschedules on safety grounds. Should that affect your slot, we will help you shift to another time or settle the booking.

About this tour

Sky Rock is a zipline and jungle canopy course in the rainforest near Khao Lak, up the coast from Phuket. You are clipped into a harness and move from one treetop platform to the next by zipline, sky bridge and abseil, with the forest below you the whole way. It is a good change of pace if your trip has so far been beaches, islands and evening shows.

The course runs as three separate programmes, so the activity scales to your appetite and experience:

Rock 1, 27 platforms (light lunch included): the longest route, with ziplines up to about 200 m, several sky bridges, a 30 m abseil, a dual zipline, spiral stairs and added features such as the air tunnel and sky wall. It runs roughly 2 hours and comes with a light lunch.
Rock 2, 14 platforms: a mid-length route covering ziplines, a sky bridge, the 30 m abseil and a dual zipline. A solid option if you want the main elements without the full circuit.
Rock 3, 10 platforms: the shortest and gentlest route, suited to younger children and anyone ziplining for the first time.

All three programmes include trained guides who stay with your group at every platform, a full harness and helmet, and accident insurance for the duration of the activity. The minimum age is 4. Because it is a physical, height-based activity, it is not open to guests over the weight limit or with certain medical conditions; the specifics are covered in the FAQs below.

Quick tips for your trip

Best time of day: The course is open daily, roughly 8 AM to 6 PM. Earlier slots are cooler and less humid for the climbing and ziplining, and the light through the canopy is at its best in the morning. We confirm the current day's operating hours on WhatsApp.
What to wear: Comfortable activewear and closed-toe shoes; flip-flops and sandals are not allowed on the course. Tie back long hair, leave loose jewellery behind, and bring a spare top, as it gets warm and sweaty in the forest.
Photography: Phones and small cameras are allowed if you use a secure wrist strap and keep a firm hold on the ziplines. A chest or helmet mount is the better choice for hands-free footage. Lockers are on site for anything you would rather not carry up.
On safety: Listen to your guide at each platform and use the gear as briefed. Age, weight and health limits apply (see the FAQs); check these before booking if any of them might affect you.
How long to allow: Set aside about 1.5 to 2 hours on the course. Rock 1 (27 platforms) takes closer to 2 hours, while Rock 3 (10 platforms) is noticeably quicker.
