Will it work for young children and older travellers?

Yes. Seats are assigned and the only walking is a slow loop of the grounds, so there is nothing strenuous for either children or older guests. The scale of the sets and the stage effects tend to hold children's attention through the 80-minute run.

What part of Phuket is the venue in, and how long is the drive?

The theatre sits on the bypass road on the edge of Phuket Town, away from the main beach strips. Allow about 30 to 45 minutes by road from Patong, and somewhat less from the centre of Phuket Town, with the exact time depending on traffic. If you want hotel pick-up and drop-off, we can add transfers for an extra charge; message us on WhatsApp to set that up.

Are photos and videos allowed during the show?

No — photography and recording are strictly not permitted inside the theatre during the performance, and cameras and phones are kept at a counter before you go in. You are free to take all the photos you like in the Thai Village and around the grounds before the show.

What is the difference between Silver, Gold and Platinum seats?

They are seating categories for the same show — the higher tiers (Gold and Platinum) seat you closer to the stage for a fuller view of the performance and effects, while Silver is a little further back. About this tour

Siam Niramit Phuket is a large-scale evening stage production that runs for about 80 minutes and traces more than 700 years of Thai history, mythology and culture. The cast numbers over 100 performers, and the show combines classical Thai dance, acrobatics, live music and elaborate stage effects. We handle the booking, so you choose a seating category and arrive at the venue.

The evening is built around more than the performance. Arriving early gives you time on the grounds:

100-Year Thai Village — landscaped grounds that recreate traditional villages from Thailand's four regions, with period houses, folk games and spots to photograph before the performance.
The stage show (3 acts) — Journey Back into History moves through Thailand's ancient kingdoms; Journey Beyond Imagination draws on Buddhist mythology, depicting heaven and the underworld; and Journey Through Joyous Festivals closes with a sequence built around Loi Krathong, Songkran and other Thai festivals.
Dinner buffet (optional) — on the Show + Dinner packages you get a buffet of Thai and international dishes before the performance, with clearly labelled vegetarian options.
Seating you choose — Silver, Gold and Platinum categories; the higher tiers sit you closer to the stage for a fuller view of the effects.

The format works for most ages and fitness levels: seating is assigned, the walking around the grounds is light, and there is no physical activity required, which makes it manageable for children and older travellers. It is an indoor, mostly seated way to spend an evening in Phuket.

Recommended time to visit: The grounds open around 5:30 PM and the show starts at 8:30 PM. Reach early so you have time to walk the Thai Village, take photos, and (if booked) enjoy the dinner buffet before the performance. The venue is closed on Tuesdays.
Dress code: Smart-casual is perfect. It can get cool inside the air-conditioned theatre in the evening, so a light shawl, stole or jacket is a good idea.
Photography tip: Photography is strictly not allowed inside the theatre during the show — you deposit your camera/phone at a counter before entering. Get all your clicks in the Thai Village and grounds beforehand, where the old-style houses and gardens make for lovely photos.
