About this tour

Frost Magical Ice of Siam is a large indoor ice-sculpture attraction in Pattaya that pairs a sub-zero, snow-white interior with Thai themes, so carvings of polar bears and igloos stand alongside an ice-carved tuk-tuk. Your ticket comes with a warm overcoat to put on at the entrance, which you hand back as you leave, and a drink served in a glass carved entirely from ice at the Ice Bar.

The attraction is divided into themed zones, each built around its own ice and snow displays:

  • Ice Dome: the indoor centrepiece, held at roughly -10°C. It holds life-sized ice sculptures of polar bears, penguins, igloos and Thai tuk-tuks, along with the Ice Bar where the drink that comes with your ticket is poured into an ice glass.
  • Snow Dome: a play area built from real snow, with ice slides that work well for children.
  • Himmapan Zone: large sculptures of the creatures of the Himavanta (Himmapan) forest, the mythical Himalayan woodland of Hindu and Buddhist legend. Figures such as Garuda, Naga and Kinnara are represented, which makes the zone a cultural counterpoint to the cold rooms.
  • Frost Village & Food Zone: an indoor area for souvenirs, snacks and cold desserts before you head out.

The appeal is the contrast: it is a full change of climate within a tropical beach city. You move from the heat outside into a room of ice carvings, snow and an ice-glass drink in the space of a few minutes. The route suits families with children and couples alike, and the cold interior gives a clear reason to visit on a hot afternoon.

Please note: The Ice Dome is held at around -10°C. A warm overcoat is provided free at the entrance; for extra comfort, wear closed-toe shoes and long trousers. Snow boots and socks can be added to your ticket if you want them.

    Ice Bar drink

Collect the drink that comes with your ticket — served in a glass carved entirely from ice. A great photo, and a soft drink for the kids.

Quick tips for your trip

  • Recommended Time to Visit: Open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (last entry around 6:00 PM). Weekday mornings are the quietest. It is comfortable year-round since the main attraction is indoors, but the cooler November–February months make the short walk between the outdoor and indoor zones easier.
  • Dress Code: A warm overcoat is provided at the entrance, but the Ice Dome sits at around -10°C, so wear closed-toe shoes and long pants for comfort. Snow boots and socks can be added to your ticket if you would like them.
  • Photography Tip: A wide-angle lens fits the larger sculptures and the Ice Bar in one frame. Keep your phone or camera battery warm, since the cold drains it quickly, and expect lenses to fog when you step in from the heat; allow a minute for them to clear.
  • Recommended Visit Duration: Most visitors spend 1.5 to 2 hours across the zones, the Ice Bar drink and time for photos.

Frequently asked questions

  • What does the Frost Magical Ice of Siam ticket include?

Your ticket covers entry to all the zones — Himmapan, the Ice Dome and the Snow Dome — plus a warm overcoat to wear inside (you return it on the way out) and a drink served in a glass carved from ice at the Ice Bar. Snow boots and socks are an optional extra you can add to your ticket if you would like them.

  • Can young children and older parents manage the visit?

Yes. The route is flat and short, with no climbing or uneven ground, so it works for most ages. Children tend to gravitate to the Snow Dome and its ice slides. The main factor is temperature: the Ice Dome sits at around -10°C, so keep children and older visitors well wrapped up and step back out if anyone gets too cold. Anyone with a respiratory condition should limit their time in the dome. Infants enter free and a child ticket is available.

  • Where is it, and how far from Pattaya Beach?

It is in the Nong Pla Lai area of North Pattaya, set a little inland rather than on the beachfront — roughly a 15–20 minute drive from central Pattaya / the beach by Grab, taxi or songthaew (baht bus). We will confirm the exact spot and the easiest way to reach it on WhatsApp, and hotel pickup can be arranged on a paid basis.

  • Is there vegetarian or Indian food nearby?

The on-site Frost Village has a small café for snacks, cold desserts and drinks, but it is not a full meal stop and Indian/vegetarian options there are limited. Since the visit is only about 1.5–2 hours, most guests plan a proper lunch before or after — central Pattaya, a short drive away, has plenty of Indian and pure-veg restaurants. Tell us your plan on WhatsApp and we can point you to a good one.

  • What is the best time to visit, and how long should I plan for?

Aim for a weekday morning for the thinnest crowds. The attraction is mostly indoors so it works in any weather, though the cooler November–February months make the outdoor walk between zones more pleasant. Plan for about 1.5 to 2 hours to cover all the zones, the ice slides and your photos.
