About this tour

The Alcazar Cabaret Show has run in Pattaya since 1981 and remains one of the city's best-known evening attractions. The performance combines elaborate costumes, choreographed dance and a dedicated Bollywood segment set to familiar Hindi film music, which Indian visitors tend to single out. It plays nightly in a purpose-built, air-conditioned 1,200-seat theatre on Second Road, a few minutes from the central beachfront.

The show is staged entirely through dance, music and visuals with no spoken dialogue, so language is not a factor. Children and older relatives can follow the acts as easily as anyone else.

The act people remember most is 'One Man Woman': a single performer presents as a man on one side and a woman on the other, switching the audience's view mid-routine. It is a well-rehearsed piece of stagecraft and a regular talking point afterwards.

Post-show: photography is not allowed inside the theatre. Once the show ends, the cast lines up in the plaza outside for photos with the audience. It is free to walk over and watch; if you pose with a performer, a tip of 50–100 THB per photo is expected.
