About this tour
Andamanda Phuket is among the largest water parks in Thailand, themed around Thai mythology and combining indoor and outdoor sections: large slides, a man-made sea and shallow pools that work for a range of ages in a single visit. It sits in Kathu, roughly 15 minutes from Phuket Town and 30 minutes from Patong. The booking includes a round-trip transfer, which covers travel to and from the park so you don't need to sort out a Grab or the route yourself.
The park is divided into five themed zones, ranging from steep drops to slow floats:
- Pearl Palace: the Thai-temple-style entrance, where ticketing, shops and the main facilities are located.
- The Great Andaman Bay: a man-made sea of about 10,000 sq.m. with a sandy edge and waves reaching roughly 3 metres. You can stay on the shore or wade into the shallower water.
- Naga Jungle: the thrill section, with multi-lane racing slides and the park's faster, steeper rides.
- Emerald Forest: the quieter green area, built around a long lazy river that loops through tropical planting. Tubes are available for drifting the circuit.
- Coral World: the children's zone, with shallow pools, smaller slides, tipping buckets and interactive water-play designed for younger kids and anyone who prefers to stay in calm water.
What to expect
The layout covers most preferences in one ticket. Naga Jungle has free-fall capsules and racing slides for those after the faster rides; the shaded loungers and lazy river suit a slower pace; and Coral World gives children a self-contained shallow area. Life jackets and floats are provided free inside the park, so non-swimmers can stay in the water and use the wave bay without needing to swim. There is enough shade and the site is well organised, making a half-day or longer visit straightforward to plan.
Who it suits
- Families with children: Coral World's shallow pools and small slides are aimed at this group.
- Couples and friends: the lazy river for an easy circuit, plus the bigger drops in Naga Jungle for anything more active.
- Non-swimmers and older travellers: free life jackets and the shallow wave-shore make most areas accessible.
- Riders after speed: the steep slides and free-fall rides are concentrated in Naga Jungle.

Quick tips for your trip
- Recommended Time to Visit: The park is usually open daily from morning to early evening. Arriving soon after opening gives you the slides before the midday crowd builds. We confirm the exact timings for your date on WhatsApp ahead of the visit.
- Dress Code: Proper swimwear is required on the slides and in the pools. Denim, cut-offs and clothing with metal rivets, buckles or zips are not permitted on most rides, so leave those out. Bring a hat, sunglasses and a strong sunscreen, as the Phuket sun is intense.
- Photography Tip: A waterproof phone pouch or a small action cam is worth packing. The Great Andaman Bay wave shore and the Pearl Palace entrance photograph best in late-morning light.
- Recommended Visit Duration: Allow 4 to 6 hours to get through all five zones at a comfortable pace; many visitors treat it as a full day.

Frequently asked questions
-
Will younger children and older relatives manage the park?
Yes. Coral World is set up for children, with shallow pools, low mini-slides and interactive water-play, while the lazy river and the sandy wave shore stay calm enough for older travellers. Free life jackets and floats mean a mixed-age group can stay in the water together.
-
Can non-swimmers still use the park?
Yes. Free life jackets and floatation devices are available on site, and several areas, including the lazy river and the shallow pools, need no swimming at all. The wave bay also has a shallow edge you can wade into rather than going deep.
-
What is the driving time from Phuket Town and Patong?
The park is in Kathu, about 15 minutes from Phuket Town and around 30 minutes from Patong Beach by car. Your package covers the round-trip transfer, so booking a Grab and following the route are taken care of.
-
Is there vegetarian or Indian food available?
There are several restaurants and snack outlets serving Thai, Italian and grilled or seafood dishes, and most carry some vegetarian options. If your group needs pure-veg or Jain food specifically, message us on WhatsApp beforehand and we will advise on what to plan for.
-
What should I pack for the day?
Wear swimwear under your clothes to save changing time, and bring a towel, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. A waterproof phone pouch helps for photos. If you would rather travel light, lockers, cabanas and towels can be rented on site.
