About this tour
Great & Grand Sweet Destination is a candy-themed dessert park on the northern edge of Pattaya, locally known as the "Candyland of Pattaya" and built around a large open-air ice cream cafe. The grounds are filled with oversized sweet sculptures: giant ice cream cones, gingerbread houses, candy canes, a tall gumball tree and a yellow taffy slide. The layout draws families and anyone keen on photography, and each entry ticket includes one scoop of ice cream, so the visit opens with a treat in hand.
What you'll find here
- Giant dessert sculptures — life-sized cupcakes, doughnuts, ice cream cones and candy props are spread across the park, most of them outdoors.
- Pastel photo zones — gingerbread houses, a candy forest, a sprinkle-covered viewpoint and the gumball tree, each set up as a backdrop for photos.
- Ice cream cafe — more than 30 homemade flavours, from vanilla and strawberry cheesecake to novelty ones such as Gummy Bear. Your first scoop is covered by the ticket.
- Retro Milk Bar & coffee shop — a 1950s-diner setup serving milkshakes, smoothies and fresh coffee for anything beyond the included scoop.
- Air-conditioned indoor areas — themed seating where you can cool off and rest between photos.
The park works for a wide range of visitors — children, couples, families and groups who want a colourful backdrop. It's a short, undemanding outing of roughly one to two hours, which makes it easy to combine with the adjacent Pattaya Sheep Farm for a half-day. As nearly everything is outdoors, a clear morning or a cooler evening is the most comfortable time to come.

Quick tips for your trip
- When to go: The park usually opens daily from 8:30 AM. Since most of it is outdoors, late afternoon or early evening means softer light, cooler temperatures and thinner weekday crowds. We confirm the timings for your date on WhatsApp.
- What to wear: There is no dress code, though colourful outfits stand out against the pastel sets. Bring comfortable shoes, as you will be on your feet around an open park.
- Photography: Daylight works better than flash here. The pastel colours and oversized props read well in wide shots that fit the whole sculpture in frame.
- How long to allow: Set aside one to two hours for the zones, your ice cream and photos. The adjacent Pattaya Sheep Farm makes an easy second stop for a half-day out.

Frequently asked questions
-
Is ice cream included in the entry ticket?
Yes. Every entry ticket covers one scoop of ice cream, chosen from the homemade flavours available that day. Extra scoops, milkshakes, coffee and snacks from the on-site cafes are charged separately.
-
Can young children and older travellers manage the visit?
Yes. The paths are flat and walkable, the sculptures are family-friendly, and children tend to gravitate to the candy props and the slide. Because most of the park is outdoors and involves some walking, carry water and a hat on a hot day; an evening visit is easier on older travellers.
-
Where exactly is the park, and what is the easiest way to reach it?
The park sits in the Nong Pla Lai area on the north-eastern side of Pattaya, away from the beach strip. A Grab or taxi from Pattaya Beach and the central hotels takes about 20 to 30 minutes. It is right beside the Pattaya Sheep Farm, so many guests visit both on the same trip. We send the exact location and help arrange transfers over WhatsApp.
-
Can we get vegetarian or Indian food around here?
The park serves desserts only — ice cream, milkshakes and coffee — most of which is vegetarian. For a full meal, plan to eat before or after, since the visit runs about one to two hours. Share your preferences on WhatsApp and we will point you to veg-friendly options on the way back.
-
Is photography permitted, and can we park on site?
Photography is welcome throughout the candy zones, so take as many shots as you like. There is on-site parking, and drop-off by Grab or taxi is straightforward. If you would rather not self-drive, we can arrange paid hotel pick-up and drop-off.
