Your hotels, day trips and what's included — all part of this package.
About this package
The Thailand Basic Package is a short, low-cost first trip to Thailand for travellers from India. It covers 3 nights in Pattaya and 1 night in Bangkok, daily breakfast, and three activities booked ahead of time: Coral Island, Art in Paradise and a day pool party. The price starts at ฿5500 per person on two sharing, which keeps the trip affordable while still covering the two cities most first-time visitors want to see.
One point to note up front: private transfers (airport to Pattaya, Pattaya to Bangkok, Bangkok to airport) are arranged on a paid basis and are not part of the ฿5500. We send the exact transfer cost on WhatsApp before you confirm. You can add them to the booking or arrange your own travel between the cities.
🏨 Where You Stay
Phuphaya Resort, Pattaya (3 Nights) — A resort in South Pattaya with a swimming pool and daily breakfast, about a 15-minute walk from Walking Street and Pattaya Beach and a short ride from Royal Garden Plaza mall. The location puts most of central Pattaya within reach on foot or a quick taxi. Within easy reach:
- Pattaya Beach & Walking Street — the seafront promenade and Pattaya's liveliest evening strip for food, shopping and nightlife.
- The Sanctuary of Truth — a tall wooden temple built entirely from teak, with hand-carved figures drawn from Thai and Hindu mythology.
- Art in Paradise — the 3D museum included in this package, set up for photographs.
- Nong Nooch Tropical Garden — large landscaped gardens that also run a daily Thai cultural show and an elephant show.
- Underwater World Pattaya — an aquarium with a long walk-through tunnel of sharks, rays and reef fish.
Gold Orchid Bangkok (1 Night) — A hotel on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road in the Phaya Thai area, a short drive from Chatuchak Weekend Market and Chatuchak Park. That places your last day of shopping close to the hotel before you fly home. Breakfast and a pool are on site. Nearby:
- Chatuchak Weekend Market — one of the world's largest weekend markets, with more than 8,000 stalls of clothes, handicrafts, souvenirs and street food. Open Saturdays and Sundays only, about 9 AM to 6 PM, so it suits a last day that falls on a weekend. Share your dates and we will set the itinerary accordingly.
- Chatuchak Park — a green, easy-going park next to the market for a morning walk or a breather.
- Mo Chit BTS & MRT — the nearby transit hub that makes it quick to reach the rest of Bangkok.
🎟️ What You'll Do
- Coral Island (Koh Larn) half-day tour: a roughly 20-minute speedboat crossing from Bali Hai Pier to the white-sand beaches of Koh Larn, about 7 km off Pattaya. Water sports such as parasailing and jet-ski are available on the beach, and lunch is included.
- Art in Paradise: Pattaya's interactive 3D museum, where the paintings are set up so you can pose as part of each scene. It is air-conditioned and works in any weather, which makes it a reliable option on a hot or rainy afternoon.
- Day Pool Party: an afternoon at a Pattaya pool venue with music and a casual social setting. It needs no planning on your part and suits travellers who want a slower day after the island trip.
🛍️ Bangkok on the last day
The final stop is focused on shopping and food. The plan is to spend the last day at Chatuchak Weekend Market for souvenirs and bargaining, with street-food stalls throughout for dishes like pad thai, mango sticky rice and fresh tropical fruit. It makes a compact end to the trip before your flight home.
What this package covers, and who it suits
At ฿5500 per person on two sharing, the package bundles four nights of hotels, daily breakfast and three activities (Coral Island, Art in Paradise and the day pool party). Both hotels have a pool, breakfast and a central location in their city, so day plans need little extra arranging. The fixed itinerary and pre-booked activities make it a practical choice for a first visit, when working out routes and bookings from scratch takes the most time.
Two things stay flexible. Private transfers are priced separately and quoted in advance, so the transport cost is clear before you commit. The itinerary can also be adjusted for your travel dates, group size or food preferences, which is worth raising at the time of enquiry.
Pricing note: Price is ฿5500 per person on 2 pax sharing and covers hotels, daily breakfast and the listed activities (Coral Island with lunch, Art in Paradise and the day pool party). Private transfers and international flights are not included — transfers are arranged on a paid basis and we share the exact cost on WhatsApp. For groups of 10+ we offer customised itineraries and private transport at preferential rates. Quick tips for your trip
- Place the Bangkok night on a weekend: Chatuchak Weekend Market trades Saturdays and Sundays only, about 9 AM to 6 PM. Where your dates allow, set the last day on a Saturday or Sunday. Send us your dates and we will arrange the itinerary to match.
- Confirm transfers before you fly: the airport to Pattaya and Pattaya to Bangkok drives each run about 120 to 150 km and take 1.5 to 2 hours. Book your paid transfers with us ahead of time so a driver is assigned and waiting on arrival.
- Pack smart: light, breathable clothes and swimwear for Coral Island and the pool party, a modest cover-up for the Sanctuary of Truth or any temple, sunscreen, and a small daypack for the Chatuchak shopping day.
- Keep documents handy: have your passport, e-visa and booking screenshots ready — Thai immigration is quick when your papers are in order, and your driver may ask for the hotel name on arrival.
Frequently asked questions
-
What does the ฿5500 cover, and which costs sit outside it?
The ฿5500 per person on two sharing covers four nights of hotels (three in Pattaya, one in Bangkok), daily breakfast, and the three listed activities: Coral Island with lunch, Art in Paradise and the day pool party. It does not cover international flights or private transfers (airport to Pattaya, Pattaya to Bangkok, Bangkok to airport). Transfers are arranged on a paid basis, and we send the exact cost on WhatsApp before you book.
-
Is vegetarian and Indian food easy to find on this itinerary?
Yes. Both hotels serve breakfast, and the Coral Island lunch can be set as vegetarian if you ask in advance. Pattaya and Bangkok both have a good number of Indian and pure-veg restaurants, and the Chatuchak day in Bangkok is surrounded by food stalls. Tell us your requirements and we will list a few options close to each hotel.
-
Does this trip work for a first visit, and for children or older parents?
It is built around a first visit, with hotels, activities and the day-by-day plan arranged in advance. Art in Paradise, the hotel pools and Chatuchak Market are manageable for most ages. The exception is the Coral Island leg: the speedboat crossing can be fast and bumpy, so it is not advised for pregnant women, travellers over 60 or anyone with heart or back problems. We can swap in a calmer activity for those guests.
-
Does the trip land on a day when Chatuchak Market is running?
Chatuchak Weekend Market trades on Saturdays and Sundays only, from about 9 AM to 6 PM. If your Bangkok day is a weekday, the full market is closed. Send us your travel dates and we will either place the Bangkok night on a weekend or recommend other markets and sights in the same area.
-
Can the trip be tailored, and what is the booking process?
Yes, it can be adjusted. Send your dates, group size and any specifics (vegetarian meals, senior travellers, an anniversary, a family with toddlers) and we will reshape the plan to fit, including adding paid transfers or moving to higher-category hotels. Booking is handled over WhatsApp: a part-payment deposit holds the dates, and the balance is paid before you travel.
