About this tour
Erawan Patong Zipline is an adventure park built into the forested hills above Patong Beach in Phuket. After a harness check and briefing, you ride a series of steel cables from one treetop platform to the next, with the Andaman Sea and Patong bay below. It rewards a little nerve, though the harness system is built with first-timers in mind. Trip Dust books your tickets and confirms your timing in advance, so the only thing left to do is turn up.
The course runs across a wide hillside and combines ziplines with sky bridges, abseils, a spiral staircase and a treehouse. Its longest cable measures more than 700 metres, which the park lists as the longest in Phuket. Four circuits are on offer, sorted by length and intensity:
- 42 Platforms (EP1) is the complete course: 20-plus ziplines, sky bridges, abseils, the spiral staircase and the treehouse, with a meal at the park. Budget roughly 2.5 hours.
- 20 Platforms (EP2) mixes ziplines, abseils, sky bridges and one dual line, and takes about 1.5 hours.
- 17 Platforms (Special) is shaped around the ocean-facing platforms, so the views do most of the work on this one.
- 12 Platforms (EP3) is the short introduction: a few ziplines, an abseil and a sky bridge in roughly 30 minutes. A sensible choice if you're new to ziplining or pressed for time.
On safety, the park runs PETZL equipment certified to European and American standards, and trained instructors brief you and stay alongside you on each line; you remain clipped to a safety cable throughout. Children from 4 years can take part, up to a maximum weight of 120 kg. The operator also keeps an environmental angle, inviting guests to plant a tree seed as they leave.
The park works well for couples, friends and families who want some height and a view. Because it involves climbing, harnesses and walking between platforms, it is not recommended for pregnant women, guests over 60, or anyone with heart, back or knee problems.

Quick tips for your trip
- Recommended time to visit: The park is open daily (roughly 8 AM–6 PM). Morning or late-afternoon slots are cooler and more comfortable than the midday heat. We confirm your current slot and exact timing on WhatsApp when you book.
- Dress code: Comfortable activewear and closed-toe shoes (no slippers or sandals). Tie back long hair, leave loose jewellery in the locker, and tuck away anything in your pockets before you fly.
- Photography tip: Keep your phone on a wrist strap or in a zipped pocket, since you can't hold anything loose while clipped on. A GoPro on a chest mount works best for the canopy and sea views. The park usually sells its own action shots taken from the platforms as well.
- Eat light: A light meal an hour before is fine; a heavy lunch right before all the swinging and ziplining can feel uncomfortable. The full 42-platform circuit includes a meal at the park.
- Recommended visit duration: About 30 minutes for the 12-platform taster, up to roughly 2.5 hours for the full 42-platform circuit — pick the option that matches your time and energy.
- Safety first: Follow your instructor and keep your harness clipped as shown. Minimum age is 4 years and maximum weight is 120 kg. The activity is not recommended for pregnant women, guests over 60, or anyone with heart, back or knee problems.

Frequently asked questions
-
Can young children and older relatives do the ziplines?
Children aged 4 and up are allowed, accompanied by an adult, which makes it workable for most families. Older travellers should think it through first: there is climbing, a harness and walking between platforms involved, and the park advises against it for anyone over 60 or with heart, back or knee conditions. Pregnant women are not permitted, and the weight ceiling is 120 kg.
-
Which circuit should I book, and how do they differ?
Four circuits run at the park. The 12-Platform option (about 30 minutes) is the short introduction for newcomers. The 20-Platform and Special 17-Platform circuits (about 1.5 hours) add further ziplines, abseils and ocean-facing platforms. The 42-Platform circuit (about 2.5 hours) covers the most ground, with the full set of ziplines and sky bridges, a treehouse and a meal. Send us your available time and how adventurous you feel, and we will point you to the right one on WhatsApp.
-
Is the equipment safe?
Yes. The park uses PETZL harnesses and gear that meet European and American safety standards, and certified instructors give you a full briefing and stay with you on the lines. You're clipped to a safety line the whole time.
-
Will I get vegetarian or Indian food here?
A meal is included on the full 42-Platform circuit; the shorter circuits don't include food. The park is up in the hills, so vegetarian and Indian options are limited on-site — most guests eat back in Patong, which has plenty of Indian and veg restaurants a short drive away. Tell us your food preference and we'll guide you.
-
Where is the park, and what's the drive from Patong or Phuket Town?
You'll find it on Phrabaramee Road in the Kathu hills behind Patong Beach. From Patong itself the climb takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes by car; from Phuket Town allow about 45 minutes. Hotel transfers are not part of the standard ticket, but we can set up paid pick-up and drop-off if you message us on WhatsApp.
