If you are planning a trip to Bangkok, there is one destination that consistently tops the list for families, couples, friends’ groups & solo travellers: Safari World Bangkok. Spanning over 200 acres, this isn’t just a zoo; it is a massive, two-part adventure consisting of an open-air Safari Park and an action-packed Marine Park. For Indian travellers, it offers the perfect mix of wildlife, world-class entertainment, and—most importantly—comforting “Desi” food. There are snack Wagons & Food Stalls (throughout the park).

Imagine driving through the African savannah right in the heart of Thailand. In this 8km stretch, animals roam free. You will see majestic Bengal tigers, lions, rhinos, and hundreds of giraffes and zebras.
Important: You cannot walk through this zone. You must be in a vehicle.
Private Car
If you have a private car, you can drive through at your own pace.
Safari Coach
For those without a car, the park provides a comfortable Safari Coach. As of 2026, the coach ticket is THB 100 per person. It’s a 30–45 minute guided circuit that offers fantastic photo opportunities.
The Marine Park is a walkable zone housing exotic birds, aquatic life, and the park’s famous live shows. There are 7 spectacular performances daily, including:

The Dolphin Show
Generally at 1:30 PM, this is a crowd favourite.

Sea Lion & Elephant Shows
Perfect for younger children.

Spy War Stunt Show
A Hollywood-style action show with explosions and water stunts.

Orangutan Boxing
Hilarious and high-energy (Starts around 10:40 AM).

Giraffe Feeding Terrace
This is the most “Instagrammable” spot in the park. You can stand on a raised platform and hand-feed friendly giraffes.
The River Safari Ride
Don’t let the name fool you; this is a 30-minute immersive boat journey through a “jungle” filled with animatronics, light effects, and wildlife.
We understand that for Indian tourists, food and logistics are the biggest priorities.
Proper Indian Buffet Lunch available from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM One of the main reasons Safari World is so popular with Indians is the Savanna Restaurant. Unlike other parks that only offer local Thai food, Safari World serves a dedicated Indian Buffet. For just THB 180 (Tripdust), you get a full spread of Dal, Sabzi, Jeera Rice, Curries, and Salads. It offers both vegetarian & non-veg available options.
Seamless Transportation Since the park is 40km from downtown, getting a taxi back in the evening can be a nightmare. TripDust offers shared and private transfers to ensure you aren’t stranded.
The aquarium is divided into uniquely themed zones that take you from the freshwater rivers of the jungle to the deepest parts of the ocean:
Arrive Early
Be there by 9:00 AM. Start with the Safari Park drive-through immediately while the animals are most active and the weather is cooler.
Stay Hydrated
Bangkok’s heat is no joke. Water is available inside (approx. THB 20), but carrying a hat and sunscreen is mandatory. Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
Book Online
Walk-in queues at the ticket counter can last 45–60 minutes. Pre-booking with TripDust allows you to skip the line and enter within 5 minutes.
Yes! The Savanna Restaurant is designed specifically for Indian palates. It’s “proper desi khana”—perfect for families who aren’t fans of Thai spices.
Absolutely. The park offers wheelchair rentals at the Information Center and plenty of shaded seating near the show arenas.
To see both parks and catch at least 3-4 shows, you need a full 5 to 6 hours.
It’s an optional add-on at THB 300/person. We strongly recommend adding it — it’s a highlight of the day and great for photos.
